My bullies are extremely territorial but best luck ive had with them making friends is introducing them in a neutral location, once their buddies then they can come over. When they dont know the other dog it gets a bit troublesome at times. One is 10 the other 7 so they are a bit set in their ways.

he looks like he is having a ball. bully breeds have a bad rep but it is the way you raise them that will make them either a good or bad dog. you got a good one

My dog isn't territorial or aggressive to other dogs or people. I have to many kids for him to be aggressive. I work with him every day. My kids can take food out of his bowl (if they get to it before its gone) There is an order in my house I am the boss then my wife then the kids. He falls under the one of the kids. He gets the same treatment as they do. He fights with them just like they do each other he takes their toys and they take his. I always take him around other dogs. I never put him on a leash. A lot of times dogs feel like they are cornered and cant get away on a leash so they bite out of fear and defense. He is kennel trained, and if he messes up you will normally have to catch him do it because he goes directly to his kennel when he does mess up. He is the best dog I have ever had. I have had Doberman pinchers, Staffordshire terriers, pit bulls, and the American bully is by far the best traits that I look for in a dog. They have good size, good manors, good looks, and most of all he loves our family and want to be a part of it.

i like the bully breeds. I never had a pit, just english bulldogs. My buddy has several pits, mixed and pure. They are all good dogs, I'm a stranger in their house and they just let me pet them like anyone else there.

I like the APBT. That was the only dog I would have for years. They are just so much work. I mean you really have to have time and patients. They are so athletic. I do miss my old stud, He was a red brindle with fawn and whiteish strips. He was 110lbs. and he could hang on a rope for hours. He loved to tug of war. The bully isn't nearly as game as the pit but just as loving and loyal.

yeah I got 2 females and they are a pain in the ass when they get there energy all up. I got one that can clear any fence you put in front of her. I prefer female dogs and APBTs are the most femine looking of the different pit bulls in my opinion

Re: American bully attacking young girl!!

Right on man. I have only had females paired with males. In my experience the females are way more protective then the males. I had an all white female with just a freckle on her ear. She looked albino minus that little freckle and some black dots on her skin down at the bottom of her belly. She was a one person dog and that person was me. After her first litter I had to get her to someone that didn't have kids. My first wife was pregnant and my female had just had a litter all the pups but one were gone and my wife had a friend over, she tried to sit down on the couch with me and my female snapped at her and wouldn't stop growling and barking. With the baby on the way, and my wife's friend scared to death we decided to get rid of her. I traded her to a friend who bread her with his stud and I ended up with two of the pups. (both males) She ived out the rest of her life around other dogs at a kennel so it turned out ok.
