so since cali went ahead and announced they were doing both urine and blood at last nights event, how many of these fighters are going to be screwed? i wonder how many dana is going to sweep under the rug or give the nod to continue to fight when they test positive

    Re: Drug Testing

i think many use during camp but stop with enough time to clear a drug test.

      Re: Drug Testing

I began to think the same thing !!! How many will test positive , but with the powers that be , how many will be OVERLOOKED ???
Many take PED's , and I respect some peoples opinion on it , whether u want to test or not .
I just believe it makes the sport more exciting , and many of the fighters, I believe , take PED's .
So let's see what happens with this " New Rule " !!!

It's the local commisions testing so I'm not sure the ufc can hide it

          Re: Drug Testing

With the new advanced testing and no TRT, and bigger punishment things are bound to change. Guys are going to have to cycle off way more in advance than usual. But now I think they are talking about year round random testing just for having a ufc contract. Not just in-competition testing. No way these guys can get through their usual camps without some chemical asistance

I don't know why people care so much about it anyway. We are all paying to watch them fight anyway. I don't care what they take but I'm sure they all do something they shouldn't,

i think it's funny they worry about rec stuff just as much as the do ped. all pro sports are entertainment except the olympics so who cares what they do esp in fighting. it is all done by weight classes so in all honesty it really only gives you an edge in training. just like baseball and football, you have to have skills in order to be any good and ped really arent going to make a huge difference in the ring. as long as it is allowed lol

                Re: Drug Testing

it has always been here and probably more so. but testing was not as good and there were far fewer fights. now with the better testing and 3 fights a month there are bound to be more positive tests.

on the flipside fighters are smarter about doing PEDs. i think probably 85% use them. hell when i went on TRT i recovered better, healed faster. was stronger and cardio improved and that is just from 150 mg week used to get 200mg but my levels were around 1200n/dl and doc wanted it under 1000

so this little bit improved an amateur's game think about using a higher dose and a nandrolone that improved joints which as we all know take a beating in fighting lie nothing else
