Re: Started my step son in BJJ
I haven't been able to do my Muay Thai this week because my first BJJ class aggravated my knee injury. I've been doing some stretching and foam rolling and got it feeling good enough to do another BJJ class last night. It's a little sore today but not like after the first class, so I think it's just going to take a little time for it to get used to the movements.
BJJ was tough last night. I rolled with a blue belt that was about 2-3 times my size. BUT.....that was the best class I have had! This guy taught me things during the ENTIRE class. Every little thing I did wrong, he corrected me immediately and showed me the correct way and even what my errors could lead to. It was really informative. I mean, I needed a note pad for that one. I am going to try and roll with that guy every time I can even though there is a huge size advantage. It was great man!
