they should fire the coach the athletic director expel the students and punish the parents as well. this is not acceptable on any level and regardless if any of the other people had knowledge of what was about to happen it is irrelavent. the coach is the one that enforces discipline in the team and teaches the rules and conduct so he should be fired. the athletic director hires the coach therefore he should be fired as well and the parents because these are minors should also be held accountable for having children that are out of control. this is so disgustingTGBSupplements REP

punk ***** kids. they should be banned from all sports the rest of their school careers and should be suspended for a month. their folks should pay hefty fines and anyone who facilitated this in any way should be dealt with strictly.

Things like this make me sick. These punks should be expelled and banned from all sports till the end time. I agree the coach and parents should be let go reprimanded as well. This kind of behavior doesn't just happen on the spot. These are minors, this behavior was not handled at home and ignored by the coaches.Train Till Your Eyes Bleed!

well the story says that team had two players ejected before this occured. so i stand by what i say, they all should be punished because the team has a discipline problem. i played ball for my entire school career and have coached and i have never seen a player ejected for any reason.TGBSupplements REP

We will see what happens football in Texas is huge. If they are star players they may get a pass. Travel through Texas and every little town has a football stadium. I mean STADIUM: colleges don't have facilities like high school football in Texas. From what I've heard supposedly the ref aside from making a lot of blatantly bad calls had also made derogatory remarks towards some of the players. Also an assistant coach said the ref needed to pay for what he had done. Kids are suspended so is the coach.Comment

I don't live to far from where this happened. Kid who made the first hit is a sophomore. Other is a senior. Now they pulling the race card and saying one of the coaches told them the official needed to pay for cheating then. There will be criminal assault charges against all involved.
Ref is filing declamation of character and slander charges.
To me this a perfect example of what society has come to. There are rules I place and people to enforce those rules. But now in the world we live if you don't like the rules or the person enforcing them you can attack them.
