anybody see the show on

cars of the sequel to fast and the furious. basically they said they are what they are movie cars. they dont have the balls of full on race cars they appear to be. i was dissapointed. i really didnt like the first movie but the cars were pretty cool. now i have no reason to watch this one.

There's alot of dilusional youngsters out there now because of this movie. Calling Nitrous "Nawwwss" and worrying about hitting the button "too early"... well that's when they're not worrying about their floorboards dropping out....

The only fast car in that movie was the Supra and the Dodge Challanger (or was it a charger?).

i need a new exhaust system and was thinking a 6" exhaust pipe would be awesome on my car ... then a racing stripe and a huge fin on the back and i'd be the coolest kid in town ... no mind that teh car would still be slow as hell

hell yea make it sound like a weedeater. and put groundeffects on it so after you drop the torsion bars all the way to the snubbers you get stuck in a walmart parking lot because you cant go over speed bumps. now thats cool oh yeah like you said the car is still slow. and got gear hit the juice too early? WTF would you rather run a WHOLE race with 300 hp or 200hp for half before you hit it. damn stupid flick

Wait a second man, did you actually believe for a second that those were hot cars? WTF

The first movie was horrid, they even ruined the scene with the American Muscle car (Mopar), with that fake ass wheelstand. That movie was a bunch of bullshit with a hot chick or two thrown in and that was not enough to save it from 11 year old boy movie material.

Most import "racers" are all show, no go, occasionally some like Chezfrog show up who actually go fast without the bling bling, but those are the exception. The first movie, had many street cars in it, which were rented or purchased from thier owners. I recall one of the Supras going on eBay for 80 or 90k, dont know if it sold.

This movie as well as Biker Boyz is just a bunch of pre-teen bullshit.

Full on street racer turbo/nitrous Honda, 500+ crank HP and a short short powerband and a shorter lifespan, Chezfrog proved that.

I made nearly that NA with stock rear gears in my car, a dinky little 350, 2 bolt mains, 411/385 to the rear, and it was my daily driver (it is once again).

411HP in a Camaro and 411HP in a honda and there is no comparison......a 411 HP Integra will prolly rip your windshield out as it goes by....

I had a 99 Integra with 220WHP and would slaughter 5.0's and camaros. Thats 80HP over stock to the wheels....

No I dont mess with the little guys anymore.....If it aint a Turbo car or a Corvette Z06....I dont bother....

Well I'd have to disagree with all the people bashing the imports since a built supra will push over 1000hp and still can be driven as a daily driver and do better than 2 mi/per gal.lol

yep, they said the eclipse could do 0-60 in under 6 seconds. that sucks for any turbo car. i am not knocking imports i just am not fond of little econo boxes with loud mufflers that make a lot of racket and cant outrun my old ford 4X4 thats bone stock and heavy as hell with 31 inch tires to slow it from the light.

Don't get me wrong guys.

There's some awesome imports out there that have lots of power and performance. I'd love a TT Supra, a Skyline...

It's just that the majority of "Import Sportscars" we see the kids driving and glorified in the Fast & Furious ARN'T fast. They're Doge neons, Honda Civics, VW Jetta's ... Economy cars pretending to be sportscars.. All show and no go....
