i'll have you know my honda accord souped up can do 0-60 in 12 seconds ... on a downhill stretch ...

i think i need a huge fin on the back, think that would help?

More weight over the REAR wheels on a FRONT wheel drive car will definately help!

Your only a fart muffler and a few stickers short of 11's!

the thing i really hate is when the kids have a 95 nissan sentra with 95000 miles on it and they put a giant muffler on it a set of rims and a k&n filter then brag about their 300 hp car when its more like 140 hp at the front wheels. just because you beat a tired hyundai from the stoplight does not make a car fast. japanese letters all over the car do!

aw damn ... i forgot about the huge japanese letters on the hood, that'll give me at least 10 more horsepower ...

but the big question, is which kind of shift light and tachometer should i get for the dash ... i know it's an automatic, but it'll look cool and definitely make the car faster ...

oh, and i scored a fire extinguisher for the inside of the car ... it looks hella cool, and if the floor board drops out from too much NOS ... i'll be safe ...

LOL....thats it....Its time to strat raggin on domestic owners.

Why dont we go out and buy some rims with the wrong offset because im too stupid to measure offsets correctly and ill end up with a rim and tire combo the sticks 6 inches past the fender......Or or or, we could go out and buy a 9 inch cowl hood so i cant see over the right front side of the car with my stock low rise intake manifold and stock carb to make it look like i got something......then....ill stick Jegs stickers all over my car even though im not sponsored....oooohhh...so many ideas...next ill lower the front of my car, and jack the rear up which does nothing for weight transfer so when i hit it, ill burn up the stock 215's that came with the car....that will make me look like i make real power....

                  Lol.. someone's getting upset!

Anyway.. for the tachometer, that's easy.. the biggest one you can find! Show everyone your a serious racer yo!

I actually saw metal "floorboard plates" in the ricer isle the other day. Yup.. you screw em down over your carpet to give your car that racecar look.. They're gonna make millions!

You also need some lights for under the car. I'm thinking purple and green.

i'm thinking some ground effects and some neon green lights under the car will make the car aerodynamic enough for at least 0-60 in 10 seconds ....

i dunno though, i might have to get those bolt in aluminum plates for the real racer look ...

oh damn, i almost forgot, at auto zone i saw the chrome looking hoses that merely fit around the stock hoses ... that'll make the car look cooler, and therefore run faster i think ...

once i get the white out lights and the flashing lights on the windshield wiper fluid dispenser and the tires, i'll be good to go ...

oh, and you can't forget the whistle in the muffler, because the whistle go WOOOOOOOOOO

yes you must have a tach that can be seen from space with the naked eye. even though it weighs 68# it gives you so much HP. also the little things, change a shifter knob 6 HP. change the dash gauge faces a different color 9 HP. 16 point racing harness 14HP even though the car will only go 85 mph. and for the big HP a giant rear wing, the best are air force surplus b-52 bomber wings. bigger the wing faster the car now thats a fact.

as for domestic rear drivers like the stang and the z28s there is some cheap performance. get one used for about the same price as a honda econobox and the only thing the honda will beat is gas mileage. spend $5000 on each car and the honda is still in the dust. i like the jap muscle cars but there are so few. i dont care for the little lawnmower engine powered fast and furious cars these kids truly beleive are fast. you can spend a ton of money on one and make it quick. i will stick to my 4X4. when one of those little hondas is speeding and runs up under my truck i can still drive home while his car is totaled i know this from real life experience. i got a new trailer hitch outta the deal that was all.

the only thing i like about my honda is that it gets great gas mileage and it never breaks down ... it's bone stock, and drives well, and is a decent car ...

i have no problem with someone pimping out a honda with tinted windows, or rims or whatever ... just don't try to tell me it's fast ...

Point is this.....Ill never win some of you guys like, Gipped and CJ and Gear to imports, and you will never win me to Domestics. Ive never ridden in one I liked.....I think the quality blows, they handle for shit and leave alot to be desired in the looks department.

but i don't think it's a fast car, and i'm not going ot try to act like it is ....

Put a Rev Hard turbo kit on and it will be.....

Your comparing apples and oranges. First you compare fast cars. You say an accord isnt fast. Well neither is a mustang GT. It will be when you put a cam and some heads on it. That accord isnt fast either. It will be when theres a rev hard turbo kit and a huge front mount sitting on it. You talk shit about wings. My integra a lip spoiler on it. Why you ask? Because I needed downforce (Yes I said downforce) in the corners or else the rear would step out.(Yes on a front wheel drive car). Then you compare reliability. Here yoiu domestic owners dont have a leg to stand on. Fords, they eat oil. Period How reliable is something that eats oil. Chevys, still using a shitball pushrod actuated design. Heres what it breaks down to fellas. Please understand what im saying. You talk about 300-400 HP honda civics are not reliable. Why? Here is why. Lets take my 99 Integra. It has a static compression ratio of 10.0:1 Your average domestic sports car does not. So with this 10:1 C/R i have 1.8Ltrs of motor. You have lets say a 5.0. That us 2.777 times the motor I have. Then heres the kicker my car makes 170HP with 1.8 ltrs. That is 94.4 HP/ltr. That 5.0 I just described has 225 HP out of 5 ltrs. That is a puny 45HP/ltr. And it gets better. Imports have better warranties. So dont compare speed to reliability or anything else. I dont think a 350 is fast weather it be in a camaro or a Vette. I have respect for the Vettes with work done and that sit with my supra. I have respect for Integras that go 11.8 on motor. I have respect for any car that hit 1.0G on the skidpad. If yoiu are going to argue a point, dont toss other factors in the equation. If you are talking ultimate speed in a street car, other than the few and i emphasis few street rods with 660 Cu/In and above motors like Merlin blocks, I think the Supra and Skyline are kings. I dont believe there is a Reliable, daily driven, full interior, non tubbed, a/c having F-Body or mustang that runs 10.0s with out NNNNAAAAAWWWSSS.. Had to put that in there. I do know quite a few supra and skyline owners that do. I dont know of a domestic car out there with the exception of a Viper and Z06 Vette that can handle like a Supra, M3, or even an Integra Type-R. This pos is getting long and im sick of arguing moot points. Pick 1 factor and lets argue it.

Ciph, your trying too hard bro..

Stock for stock a mustang GT will KILL an accord of the same year. Lol.. maybe not after you put a turbo on it, but what happens when you also put a turbo on the GT?

Spoilers on street cars are ornaments.. they do nothing but slow you down. No matter WHAT the street car, it's an ornament.. unless your regularly carving corners at speeds over 100mph and can afford to waste the horsepower for better traction.

Lol.. it's every ricers thing.. the xxx HP per liter thing. I ask you this.. what the hell does it matter? I care about total power.. I could care less about the displacement. Plus if you have low HP/liter measurements that means there's lots of room for improvement/mods no?

Your admitting that a 300-400hp honda engine isn't very reliable.. then try to explain to me why. It doesn't matter why...

We all admitted there's fast imports like the supra and the skyline..so you can stop using them as the example.. they are about 3-4% of the ricer population and you know it. We're talking about civics, camry's, and jetta's here..

Please show me an import that can give the same performance for the same price as the mustang GT? AKA, .9's on the skid with a 13.x second 1/4.

Imports have better warranty's? Better look into that a little more closely, domestic manufacturers have made huge improvements to their warranties in the last few years..

Like I said before.. there's nothing wrong with an import, they just arn't racecars. (OK, except the Supra).
