so trying to get ready for mexico. not i best frame of mind this year. no motivation to get my shyt together like i did last year. still off target for condition i had last year. so now the past week i'm fighting this stupid phuqing summer cold and my chest is so congested it's tearing my back up coughing up shyt. now less tyhan a month prior to take off my ham gets tweaked last nigh goddam stretching. really??? not fighting, not training, warm ups, last rep of this stretch and i'm coming up, ping/pop/ouch hobbling across this dojo i train at on thursdays and i'm sitting there waiting to see if pain sets in like last time i tore a ham. after about ten minutes i feel a bit stiff but no real pain like a tear so i pack it in and hobble down four flights of stairs and drive home. so obviously no leg training for a week or two. so phuqing disappointed in myself for letting summer get here and not being in great shape like last year. just gonna stay on track and be at a better place to start cutting from for next year. i mean i'm not a huge fat ass but i was a bit off last year where i wanted to be 178 and i'm at 193 with 26 days before i land in cancun. but i'm so pissed that im not going to gain the fluid and vacation food weight i did last summer and stay leaner throughout fall and winter to be ripped and phucking bad ass scary for next year.

That sucks about tweaking your hamstring brotha. I've done that before too and it's always a *****. Sometimes we all get off our game here and there. Happens to the best of us my man. Hope your hamstring heals up and everything gets back on track for you soon bro.

foam roll the hammy bro, before I get on the mat at my camp I roll hams, quads and IT bands, lower back, triceps and use a lacrosse ball on my bis upper back and shoulders.
add some magnesium to your diet, alternate ice and heat. I am always tweaking something. I do not fight anymore and was never good but i still spar and train as hard as my old body will let me. rolling helps heal pulled muscles. it really helps me a lot. now if there was some way to condition shins that did not feel like a million needles getting shoved in at once.
