Re: Man Dragged off United Airlines
I think this whole thing was just crazy on both sides. On one hand you have United manhandling this guy off the plane because he didn't want to give up his seat that he paid for. That just seems excessive and in that case I say just pick another passenger. Yet, on the other hand you have this grown man throwing a tantrum like a petulant child. What lesson does that teach? If you don't get your way with a company, throw a temper tantrum forcing them to remove you from the premises and then turn around and sue them? Crazy world we live in.

Re: Man Dragged off United Airlines
So he doesn't have to cooperate with police because he is on a plane?
I can't believe we are tolerating his behavior.
Sets a really bad precedence if the judge doesn't throw this BS out.
Also not a fan of how he is claiming his experience was worse than his experience in Vietnam as a soldier.

Re: Man Dragged off United Airlines
again i will say it as common sense as possible. 4 people random selected by the computer to be bumped. 3 people leave freely like they were asked. one refused and then then security had to get involved. nothing wrong to me here. if you do what you are told and if it is an issue then take it up after you follow their instructions. another prime example of i am more important than everything else and i dont have to follow rules i dont want toTGBSupplements REP

Re: Man Dragged off United Airlines
It is 100% a failure in the airlines system. They needed to get employees to another airport....their problem. BUT when the police became involved it's game over. Citizens are REQUIRED by law to obey ANY LAWFUL ORDER GIVEN BY POLICE.
Even if it was given for the wrong reasons (no matter what they are). You fight that battle later lawfully. In the moment the police are authorized to use nessary force to make you comply with LAWFUL orders.
The airlines called the police and instructed them to escort him off the plane. What were they supposed to do....
I have had my fair share (and many other peoples) of arrests even spent time in jail several times but I have never had mg ass kicked or stun gunned or maced.
I have a brother that consistently gets his ass beat by police for the same shit u have been arrested for because he is aggressive with them, mouthy, and won't obey them. It's plain stupidity!!!
