Finally going legal to be able to carry. took the class on the 11th and sent in certificate on the 15th, soon as it's in hand looking to pick up the S&W M&P Shield for every day carry. first choice was glock but the gun dealers in this state are barred from selling new glocks. i can pick up a used one but due to demand they're overpriced in this assbackwards state. debating registering the 12 gauge and 30/30 winchester my grandfather left me when he died back in '90. if they're not on the registered list they can't come looking for them if we ever get a liberal gun grab going down.

I'm in Mass and got a Gen4 glock 19 pretty recently. Everyone says you cant, it's illegal, etc..etc..but you can get them.

Re: waiting for LTC
My son just went through LTC procedures. There were very strict laws on timeframe issues for the approval process. The very last day that the decision time limit was up, they informed him that his fingerprints were not legible and identifiable. He was forced to pay for another fingerprinting and had to wait another 90 days for a decision.

Objection to your reference of the Boss. She is no 'old lady'

Re: waiting for LTC
Congrats on the LTC brotha. Have mine as well. Luckily my state doesn't seem to be as restrictive. I have a Glock 22 for my everyday carry. Thought it might be a bit too bulky at first, but with a good holster you can keep it riding high and tight. Sits pretty comfortable.
