Early Xmas present

While at my parents yesterday, my Mom had remembered I told her months ago I wanted to take guitar lessons. She bought me a nice black acoustic guitar, case and more goodies! I am so excited.

now you have to get to picking and getting it haha. no excuses. if you dont want to opt for actual lessons you can get the tablature(sp) books and learn pretty much any song you want. it tells you where to put your fingers and the whole 9 yards. i knew a few guys in the barracks that taught themselves to play that way.

It came with a lot of material and You Tube is also a great resource. I live by a music store that also teaches. I will do this.

That's awesome!! You're right too, youtube is great. You can learn how to do almost anything on youtube haha.
