I think I am going to buy new ones every year> I just opened 3 new boxes that we bought last year and they all are dead. They are made to break I tell ya. I like lots of lights on the tree and then all over the house.

Re: XMAS lights...grrr
hung my roof lights friday and the deck lights later that day and afterwards saw half the string on roof not lit, short in the wire. went out and bought new set saturday and climbed my butt back on the roof and unhooked old ones and rehung new ones and picked up new timer for front lights with the wife's white lit tree and the snoopy/Woodstock mailbox that opens and closes to reveal woodstock in the mailbox. sunday had to reprogram timer since they stayed on all night saturday night. makes house look festive and shuts up the old lady so all good in the hood.

Re: XMAS lights...grrr
you guys are going about it all wrong. laser lights are the way to go. with the push of a button your house is lit from top to bottom with no climbing required at allOriginally posted by Yohimbe View PostI'm battling lights trying to get them on the house too. Think I might just hire someone to do it this year. Doesn't seem too high up until I get to the top of the ladder.TGBSupplements REP

Re: XMAS lights...grrr
I couldn't agree more with you guns01, the laser lights are awesome and everyone that drives by my house slows down to check them out. I bought 2 for my house and it was way easier then hanging off a ladder 15 ft in the air. LOL. I am going to stick with the Laser Lights and projectors for any holiday décor. Good luck everyone. I know that most stores sell them around me. I bought mine at Home Depot for $39.99 each.Originally posted by guns01 View Postyou guys are going about it all wrong. laser lights are the way to go. with the push of a button your house is lit from top to bottom with no climbing required at all

Re: XMAS lights...grrr
You guys sold me on the laser lights. Checked them out this afternoon and those things are awesome. I'm picking one up this weekend for the house. Christmas lights = Done haha. There are actually a few houses with them in our neighborhood and look really cool.
