Is there anything better than Saturday Morning? To have the whole day ahead of you to do whatever the hell you want to do. Life is good.

Re: Saturday Morning
Ive been outside trimming the trees along my running track. I put in a 100 yard sprint track, covered it with wood chips and planted a row of trees on each side of it so I can run in the heat of the day and be in shade the whole time.,I probably planted 200 trees and bushes along that track. So today I trimmed everything back to form a tunnel of trees to run thru, I should try and post some pictures.

Re: Saturday Morning
This is what I see when I walk out the front door. I planted every tree in this picture and the grass. This was a bare field of dirt and weeds before I turned it into a park. Over 300 trees in this field alone. No neighbors. Total seclusion. This is my sanctuary.

Re: Saturday Morning
As for me, this is the first September Saturday in 20 years that I haven't worked 14 hours. Not quite sure how I feel about that but I'm heading out to clean my pool filters. Waiting to see what happens next week.

Re: Saturday Morning
One thing that makes it real special for me is that in 2008, after 2 months in the hospital, this place was as good as gone. I was out of work, had no money, no insurance, I had a six figure tax lien against me, was dead broke, this property was in foreclosure and scheduled to be sold at the courthouse...You talk about a very dark time in my life...Thats why every morning I walk out to this and the feeling is indescribable. I can remember every day wondering if someone from the bank, maybe the sherriff was going to show up and tell me I had 1 day to pack up and get the hell out. Sleepless nights, alone and scared...To look back on it and say I have come back from the brink of complete financial, physical and emotional destruction just blows me away. I never forget it and it fills me with gratitude every second.
