  • Selling my TV, shutting off cable. No more TV. Nada. No Olympics

Peeps may find this extreme, but I really am serious. I put together a craigslist ad. Its a 65 inch Vizio 2014 model. Paid about $1000 and going to take 500 obo.
Sick of the negative bullshit, mind control, media lies and worst of all FUCKING DRUG & BEER COMMERCIALS every 5 minutes.
I havent turned the tv on in over a week, I unplugged it. Have I missed it? Not one iota. I Got tempted because I have NEVER missed the Olympic opening ceremony until this year, almost plugged it back in,l then thought no, Im cvommited to ZERO tv. Nada. None. No football OMG...I am a Football fanatic. We shall see. But for now, I will not have a tv in my house

Football might be too brutal to endure going without but we shall see. I havent plugged it in since I unplugged it and havent paid attention to the olympics. Life is good. Have not missed it. I think people should pay more attention to what is being fed to them thru the tv. Im not a lunatic. I just pay attention to what is going on and who is trying to take over our minds and beliefs about things. It disgusts me to see it. People are vulnerable and arent paying attention. The corruption of our country comes thru on the tv screen. Drug companies/chemical corps are now allowed to do whatever they want on tv,
. When you get rid of tv completely, your mind gets a CLARITY YOU CAN NOT BELIEVE.

We will see how it goes. I might jonesin for a link during football, I will sit there buffering on the computer while you guys are watching football via cable LOL

I could totally live without a TV. If I was alone I woudn't even have one and I don't turn it on when noone is home but me. I hardly watched it as a kid either. I think you will feel better

I often wonder how long I would last without tv, or if I'd realize I never needed it at all. I love to read and spend more time reading than watching tv anyway.

man that will be hard. i am not a football freak that sits all day watching games but I watch the Cowboy games if they are on, and boxing and MMA fights (normally DVR.)

You can keep the TV, just get rid of cable and if you feel like a movie stream netflix. I listen to sports podcasts on youtube. gets me my sports fix without committing to a 3 hour game
