so who is going to fight the people and traffic for all the celebrations today? i have done it in the past and i have vip tickets and access this year but i wont be doing it. the 2 hour or more sitting in traffic, the traffic check points and the mrs needing security for her 5am work shift is going to make it a no go this year for us.

Not much going on here. Our daughter will be hanging with her pals this year. I am making Fuzo hang out with me by the beautiful pond where we live, lying on a blankie, watching fireworks in the sky and making our own
. I am determined to get him outside to appreciate simple shit.

we just got back from fishing. tried for crappie but ended up with a cooler full of 18-24" channel cats. My son has not been fishing with me in a long time (his GF is on vacation with her fam)
Got the smoker fired up and it will be rib-apalooza day. I have baby back, st louis style, spare ribs, beef ribs. mmmmmmmmmmm"SHIAT BIOTCH, thats a big ass!"

My sister-in-law's family lives outside the city limits, so we went over there for barbecue and fireworks this year. We usually end up going to watch the fireworks, but I forgot how fun it was setting off your own.Train Till Your Eyes Bleed!

I think half of our towns went to the hospital or jail by the sound of all the sirens allday. No sounds of horse shoes, no barbeque smells, was really quiet till it got dark. Then all the fireworks went of randomly everywhere while I exercised my freedom by roasting one on my front step. My neighbor is a snitch.
Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.
