what lies behind it? Sadness, Maybe hard to grasp that but its true. next time you feel angry, did deep and think why? Fear may be a close second to an angry feeling

Re: ANGER
I do know that Anger is a toxic chemical and can cause disease. Anger kills. Calmness is power. Ive gotten better at catching it when I feel it coming on, but its a never ending thing. It raises your blood pressure big time, as well as muscle eating cortisol-through the roof. Anger is catabolic. Kills brain cells. Its total toxicity. The more we can control anger, the more life improves. At least thats been my experience.
There are very few situations that are ever made better with anger. And anymore, it can get a person shot.
Yes, fear makes people get angry and I think peoples minds get programmed through repetition to respond with anger and negativity to everything. plus, Our culture fosters anger. Just turn on the tv and you can be pissed off in 30 seconds.

Re: ANGER
I recently ended an eight year relationship because of that. I never been with anybody who would just blow a gasket over just about anything, I felt like I was allways on eggshells and stressed all to hell to where I was getting really screwed up emotionally. I told her my dad was the same way you never know who was walking in the door, he used to beat my mom and hit me and kinda mind f#uck us. What was weird was he and my ex where really nice people but like split personality ? Karma got the both of them, my dad was murdered in a robbery when I was sixteen and my ex ? Ha, she gave up a successful salon (and me), blew a $70k inheritance in six months and had to move in with her daughter. I miss them both and it hurts me (like really bad) to have lost them, but I have to realize that was abuse. God Bless us all !Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.

Re: ANGER
I've had a lot more control over my anger as I've gotten older. I still get pissed at people from time to time (like Guns said, stupid people, rude and inconsiderate people) but I've learned to have more control over it. Over the years I've seen what letting your anger go can do and it rarely ever ends good. Even if it's just angry words. Once they're spoken, you can't take them back. I always say, you're a slave to the words you speak and a master of the words you retain. Same with actions. Once you release them to anger, you can't take them back.
