Thats great. I think marriage is great and being single is too. Either way, I am going to embrace every day. I honestly never get lonely. When I was younger, I probably experienced feeling lonely between relationships, but as Ive gotten older, I absolutely love the solitude. I have my female companionship, but we arent together every day. She does what she wants to do and I do what I want to do. It's perfect LOL

Being able to live out here on this little farm is beyond anything I ever imagined when I lived in the big city. It makes not being married extremely easy. I am grateful beyond belief for the way things have turned out, and it is not at all as I once thought things would be.

I say by all means plan how you want your life, but be open to new things that you never dreamed about. Life could turn out even better than you imagined.

Thats awesome Rake. You are very fortunate to have such a great relationship with Trixie. Probably everyone wishes to have that kind of relationship some day.
Single is awesome, but I could give it up in a heartbeat if I met someone like that.

I was single for most of my life, im 33 and now i have a gf with 2 kids. I didnt really want kids so this something i never thought id be doing. Its a pretty awesome feeling when a young child likes you enough to want to call you dad. BUT trust me i do miss the days of running hard single!

I understand right where your coming from.. if wouldn't be with someone just to be with them.. if I hadn't met my wife I don't know if I would have gotten married again.. I lived several years by myself with just me and my dogs and it was great..i really enjoy living by myself...I had plenty to do between work and stuff around the house and yard work and my dogs and the gym.. I think if you keep yourself busy you don't get lonely..

Try being 49, 5'4", white and having hiv. I just had my gf of eight years walk out on me again, skank met another black dude with a lot of money. Thing is that's another half of a family gone, no more grandchild coming over (my parents really got attached to over the years), no more road trips to Idaho to spend summer with her peeps. I'm all f'ing alone again ! It took me several years just to meet her. I'm looking everyday, and all these women are so picky compared to back in the day when I could just go up with a smile and a hello. Now ya gotta be over six feet tall, have the right color dick, and make a s#itload of money jus to get a chick who has maby two kinds of herpes and hpv, just to have lunch or go out for a beer with ya for cryin' out loud ! We used to hold each other cryin' our eyes out telling eachother this is it, we'll grow old together and all that bulls#it,...money and a big b ck dick talks, bulls#it sits alone with his dick in his hand again. I'm happy I don't have her verbally abusing me everyday, finding guys numbers, sticking me with all the bills and house work, playing me for a f'ing clown,.. as I was. I'm happy I have the house all to myself where I can feel like a seventeen year old with a new truck and a three bedroom house in the country,..weight bench in the living room, crank up the amp and jam on my guitars,.. fourtwenty anywhere in the house, and beer binging every weekend !!! Hell yeah, single life f'ing rocks man !!!! But It's a real sad and lonely lil world most of the time.
