Anyone ever get these fines and what do they carry in terms of a fine? I got a ticket but was not arrested so how can they convict me of a crime?

death in canada.........i got 12 mo's for pissing j/k states laws are much tougher then Canada, my friend got busted in texas with 40,000 E's and they want life, fuck! here i'd be surrprised if they got 2 years + day, thats with a court appointed lawyer lol

The jails are so full of people cause of cost and petty bullshit crimes, so thats the idea of the issuance of a summons. I would'nt worry bout it bro you'll prolly beat it or pay a hundred or so fine. 24 people a year are put to death in texas....... So two or maby more a month.......

I would most definitely appeal it. If you pay it then your saying your guilty and it will be on your record.

Your lucky you didn't get arrested. In ma they never issue a summons for that charge, they usually always arrest.

I got disorderly conduct for fighting. I got a deferd proseccution wich ment I got probation for 1 year and court costs. All I had to do was show up at court 1 year after I got in the fight without getting in anymore trouble and it didnt go on my record. My advise is get a lawyer.
