ok, i am going to do a little rant here really quick. no politics at all involved just straight up cut and dry simple. ambass, asks for additional security and is turned down. site is attacked and he and the security detail are killed. now let's back track a bit on the attacks leading up to this and their were more than one. so even after being hit at least 16-20 times the site's additional requests were turned down. solution here is pretty simple to me, start at the top and anyone and everyone involved should be fired and or even jailed for neglect and lack of leadership.
regardless of how much or who you delegate your authority too at the end of the day you are the one that is held accountable for your actions and or inactions. so saying i didnt know or i wasnt informed or that was handled by another individual to me is absolutely not acceptable of a leader or gov official in any capacity. that is even more so true when dealing in matters that can lead to reps of our country or military being killed performing their duties.
our system is fucked up, our leadership is fucked up and our system of accountability is absolutely piss poor and lacking. the people that govern us, make decisions for us and control pretty much everything that goes on are absolutely garbage. all of them. their needs to be prison time that is handed out, pay and pensions cut and all the other bs hookups these jerks get. then let's see how many want the job. that and any business ties or connections should lead straight to a jail cell
