I started body building 12 years ago and have never looked back. Have met some really awesome goals and try to continue my education in fitness. I told myself years ago that once I hit a specific weight and body fat percentage that I would be content and maintain that. Needless to say that has gone out the window years ago. I find myself always chasing a new goal. It's as if I'm searching for the holy grail. I tell myself all the time that I need to be happy with how I look, but honestly I never am. When is it enough?

Re: When is it enough??
if you are into body building you will never be able to make it perfect man. you can always add a little here or there and or get a little leaner here or there. it is always a work in progress. what good would it be for us if we didnt have goals? who just wants to settle with what they have achieved?TGBSupplements REP

Re: When is it enough??
AS you get older, your goals may change. You should never stop trying to attain a goal. You can still be happy with your accomplishments yet still be goal driven. No need to stop, unless YOU feel you want tooVeritas Vos Liberabit

Re: When is it enough??
Your goals change quite a bit when your body limits you from lifting like you used to. That has been my problem the last 6 years after having a second back surgery. However, I agree with Guns that you keep setting new ones, albeit mine aren't quite the same as they used to be but they are still goals. Re: When is it enough??
Be content as in being happy with your life but never be content with just sitting still and not bettering yourself. If that makes any sense?? If you arent trying to move up and forward you are alot more likely to fall backwards,Animal the manimal

Re: When is it enough??
With me it's never enough either I like seeing and feeling the progress, I naturally get off on physical stuff weather it's work or play. This, as well as Kempo I'll be doing for as long as I have a heartbeat. It's made a really big difference in the person I am today.
