I am a big fan of CZ. i have a CZ75B and a CZ SP01 Phantom. my 2 fav pistols and I have shot dozens of different brands.
so now i want this. one can pay the $200 stamp fee and put a real stock on it and have a short barrel 9mm carbine. the longer barrel will add 100-150fps to the bullet. use +p ammo and you would be at 1400-1450fps I would not run +p+ for wear reasons but it could handle it.
anyway with the stamp one would have a badass 9mm carbine with super low recoil for around $1000. yeah I could build a 9mm ar15 for the same but this is uncommon and was designed to be select semi and full auto even though the civilian version is only semi. the parts are very robust and will stand up to wear well. piecing together an 9mm AR one may have problems down the line.
