Now I know that kids sports are costly but just curious what some other sports are costing some. You don't have to put it out here if you don't want though. Now that our daughter is in a fulltime year round travel softball team and is also a competitive gymnast...can I say CHACHING!!! lol. She loves both the same and they both work right now but someday it may have to be one over the other.

our cities travel or local team is 60 bucks per child each sport. you cover all the travel and uniform expenses. so that isnt to bad and we usually opt for the local ones. now are private travel leagues are insane. 500-1k per child if they make the team and depending on the team and level the price increases per sport. soccer is the most expensive btw. they also do not cover uniforms nor travel and they travel every weekend. our private pop warner football program is 250 per child and it covers everything except for the short travel trips. all military dependent programs are free of courseTGBSupplements REP

Gymnastics is monthly cost year round. then added to it is the cost of 8 meets which is about $100 a meet. Not including travel expense or hotel etc. Softball is a flat rate but also doesn't include travel expenses if we go far and uniforms. It is def worth it but costly. My nephew has played travel hockey for years and it is expensive too. I am glad she wants to do these things though cause she has a couple friend that do absolutely nothing, no sports,music, art, nothing. I feel bad for themVeritas Vos LiberabitComment

my kid played football one season. cost us nearly $1000 and that was in elementary school. now they have $2000 summer football camps, got to pay the school for transport and then parents have to drive to the games which may be 2 hours away. WTF!"SHIAT BIOTCH, thats a big ass!"

I haven't been blessed with kids yet, but after reading this thread I'm definitely going to start saving lol. Hopefully one day.

I have 2 daughters in comp soccer and it costs $110 per kid. This does not cover uniforms, (home, away, warm up, practice jersey) nor does it cover tournaments and away expenses. It's an 8 month/year commitment
