living somewhere that is slower paced and where almost everyone you come in contact with is nice. This week has given me back some hope for people. To see God Bless America all over the place, even on the Taco Bell sign, is enough for me. Some real good genuine people. It will probably not be till our daughter is in college but Fuzo I am draggin you away from all that craziness we live in.

people always talk trash about southern people being ignorant uneducated etc.... but i can bet you that you will have a hard time finding people that will give you the shirt off of their back or go to the end of the earth to help someone out in need. some of the most honest hardworking sincere people you will ever meet.

Also nice not to have doors slammed in your face even when you are 10 feet from and approaching the door. I just see lots of smoking, liquor stores and some hard looking ladies around here but they have been very hospitable
I told Fuzo I was appreciating the honking as I walk down the road, then he had to burst my bubble and tell me they were honking at me to move my ass out of their way, lol. Damn just let me have m moment for the week.

that's because most are raised to open the door for a woman or an elder, smoking is just because they dont listen to the gov haha, liquor stores depend on the areas you are in. in some areas you can only buy beer or wine because liquor is still banned for sale to this day. the hard looking ladies lol, you dont keep nice beautiful skin tending hogs and working the hay and tobacco fields. it's funny that even with all the new machinery and stuff farmers and their kids are still out their doing most of it manually. myself personally i damn sure dont miss that work at all and i am glad i didnt head in that direction
The man who drove us in from the airport said this area used to be quite dry but is no longer. Quite a bit of retirees here and he happened to be from a south suburb in Illinois. My parents would love it here but they won't move from away from us kids
We have so many friends here that live in the south so I need to give Fuzo a kick in the ass to get on the road an pay some visits. Loved Alabama when we visited O2 and that was already 8 years ago! He made the best rib tips I ever ate

haha, i ran out of gas about 4 miles away from a gas station one time being an idiot. i walked over to a house close by and the old guy gave me his lawn mower gas just to get to the station. all he asked was i put it back in the tank and bring it back to him. he was really really old and said he would give it to me but he didnt get out that much and had to have someone get it for him. i of course hooked him up double for me being a pain

where i am from i would consider southern as in good ol people. i am way further south now but because of what i am located by their are tons of different people so i wouldnt actually consider it entirely a southern city. the locals are as southern as you can get but the outsiders that live here are something else
