Very true brother in my 40 years on this planet I knew one federal bounty hunter and u did not want to be on his bad side if u skipped on ur bail.

Cops do not have time to catch people for bail jumping. The courts will add another warrant but that doesn't get them behind bars. So agencies have special squads that deal with this but not many.

Also you can't base an entire profession after someone like Dog. First off reality television is fairly controlled so most of his shit is made up.

agree, but seems like a profession that would attract douchebag wanna be cops. we have 2 cops in our dept that is all they do is warrants from traffic violations on up

county departments are the ones that normally handle warrants. they usually have a team that is dedicated to do just that. just like they have a crew that serves papers on people. they dont handle bail jumpers though and those people depending on what they did will be left to the bail bondsman or the marshalls if it is fed.
