Re: Love or Lust
I think it is mostly lust at first sight. I mean how can you know you love someone just when you see them the first time. I think we lusted for at least the first couple of years, lol. I do think we were in love right away but lust took over then. I also think it is different when you meet in your early 20's rather than maybe someone who meets at 40 or older. expectations and such just seem different as we get older.. I also think it is never to late to rekindle those lustful times again and again. Nice topic DivaVeritas Vos Liberabit

Re: Love or Lust
IMO lust is easy. Love is enduring and challenging. They go together but are very different things. Theres no doubt I've had lust at first sight, that animal attraction. It's intoxicating and can make people do things they never thought they would do. Love for me is realizing I have something irreplaceable, lust comes and goes."You don't know how strong you are until strong is your only option."

Re: Love or Lust
Definitely 'Love at first sight' for me, but I was lucky to be selling Rake a truck and car sale is a very long process where many core personality and financial questions are asked and answered. I think all that information contributed the thought that he would be the strong, hard working man that I would be able to respect for the rest of my life. At the time I was totally deluded about who I was at my core and totally turned Rake off on our first date but his lust took over: then my submissiveness he thought was good. The rest is history. We married 15 months later and have been married over 28 yrs. Rocky at times but our love and respect has endured.
