I worked at one for about a year. Back when i was 27 so like 5 years ago about. I hated it but the people i worked with were pretty cool. Why?

Ive been going to the same location since 2009, love my LA FITNESS

The reason I drive 30min to get to the gym is because the have EVERYTHING PIECE OF EQUIPMENT i would ever need. Isolation smith machines that hit specific body parts like rear delts, back and special cable machines.

la fitness was the main gym i worked out. there where 3 in my area. the one i went to was very clean and the staff was great. i enjoyed it a lot. the other 2 where in bad areas and the gyms where dirty and if you ever saw the staff they were rude. I still enjoy la fitness and as long as you have one of the good ones its not a bad club to belong to.

there are about 3 of them and they are quite ne , in a 6 mile radius of us

I could never workout at home, I need to be at the gym for the atmosphere & when i see everyone in there lifting i get alot of motivation from seeing bigger guys too.

Does that make sense?

Yes I have. They are trending towards very sterile hate saying it but planet fitness type gyms. That being said there are some really good ones out there. They usually have great equipment. I'm probably signing back up. I was at golds but that gym near me was always packed and filthy. Not like rusty awesome iron like wipe the equipment down fuckers type dirty. Lol!
