My 1st car was a 1969 Opel Ghia. For those of you under 45, Opel was GO'S Japanese division incorporated with their Buick Division. I spent more time repairing it than driving it so my dad gave it to his cousin.
He decided to replace it with a 1970 AMC Hornet, which was also constantly getting tyranny repairs.

my first was an 87 Pontiac Fiero. 2.5 4cyl 5 speed didnt last too long. my brother and i swapped in a 305 and proceeded to break all kinds of crap, lol.. that car was a riot on the streets and surprised lots of people at the local dragstrip.
In 1992 my parents gave me and my brother my stepdad's 1981 Mercury Capri to share, which became mine a year or two later when my brother went to college and moved downtown. It had t-tops, a V6 engine, automatic transmission, and was burgundy and silver. That car was fun to drive but it got too bad of gas milage.
