i feel lucky to say I've got some country in me. I grew up on farms in Iowa and eastern Colorado and have a deep appreciation for the experiences i had on those farms. dirt bikes, driving trucks at 12 years old, backing up goose neck trailers to loading docks at 13, shot guns, snakes, creepy underground unused parts of some barns, chillin in an empty feed silo, watching the shadows of clouds glide across acres upon acres of land, jumping off fallen trees in the middle of big ponds...so many cool memories. Country music isn't my go to at the moment, but I'll always love me a good country song.

baby1 posted that real country. so much of the stuff now is that overproduced pop country with the band members chosen for the way they look and not their musical ability as digital recording has made it where one does not have to be able to sing at all to sound good. 4 people in the band 6 producers 20 sound guys, 9 song writers and composers

that is not a band. that is like eating a twinkie as opposed to your mommas from scratch cake

as for being country it is not the way you dress of having a redneck accent. just the way you are.

Ok, I do like some country music. I even posed to toby keith how do you like me now? in my last bb contest. I have some toby keith cds, and dierks bentley, but thats about it. I dont think Ive ever put a country station on in my truck
