beer is one of life's pleasures that I enjoy so much. a nice IPA in a chilled glass while cleaning the garage or after mowing the lawn or just sitting and watching a ball game. I only drink on the weekends and stay pretty fit but I run 2X a week and do train the fighting stuff which is brutal. cookies are whats bad for me.

inherently beer fills me up quick and can only do a couple. i can eat cookies until i feel like exploding

I've been there bro! I've leaned out pretty well while avoiding alcohol a few times and no joke after a weekend filled with tequila you can see fat accumulating in no time. Definitely drives the point home.

Eventually, if there isn't deep integrity and fundamental character strength, the challenges of life will cause true motives to surface and human relationship failure will replace short-term success.

There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

                    Re: Beer=no good

I have just one or 2 very rarely for some kind of occasion really just to get people to quit asking me if I want a beer.

But when I was younger like teens early 20s I drank a 1/5 of liqueur or case of beer everyday and lifted and ran 5 miles every other. I have no idea how i did that because I would die now, I guess just young and stubborn.
