I dont think it looks good for the sport and phil did a great job at remaining calm and although kai was wrong phil really made him look even worse by being calm and not feeding into it to much. As a testosterone filled man and seeing the issues phil and kai have i do not look at kai and differently and really understand why he did it. but as far as the sport and publicity and everything goes i really think kai should have done that back stage. They got in each others faces in prejudging. Phil brings in a ton of money if its one person or the other then kai will get the boot and i dont want to see that happen. I love the rivalry but they need to bring it only on the stage and only with poses.

I agree. Part of me likes phil and part of me hates him. I hate him for the same reasons i like him. I really do think he is childish though. The more he wins the worse he gets.

I dont foillow the sport that close anymore. I dont know much about either of these guys. I met phil heath about 10 years ago and he seemed like a good dude back then b ut for all I know, he may be an asshole now. Is he?

he most certainly is man. from what i hear all the guys used to be really tight with him and as soon as he won he turned into a complete dick. now that is coming from fellow competitors. from my own personal experience and talking to a promoter that booked him at another event. the one i wasnt at the promoter told me he showed up about an hour before he was supposed to pose, posed and then left immediately after. he did zero met and greets and had very little interaction with anyone at the show. now the show i was at he posed and then left 10 minutes after to go play basket ball with some local buddies. i have heard other stuff about him as well but this is not what a good representative of our sport is supposed to be like. all the other guys i have seen at the shows hang out pretty much from start to finish and the only one i thought was an ass was ferigno and he was charging people to take pics with him. i thought that was kind of messed up

they have to be easy though because if you check out the rules they can both be dq'd for doing that stuff on stage. i like it though and find it very funny that kai is actually taking it to him

sounds like success has gone to heaths head and he isnt the same guy I met 10 years ago. Ferigno has always been an ass since the early days. Being deaf is no excuse. Everyone I know who has ever met ferigno say he is a complete asshole

Well I will be the first for you to tell you he's not! I've met and hung with him many times and even trAined with him. He is "odd" but not a jerk at all. If you read his book. I have it but can't remember what it's called at the moment. It really gives you insight into his side of why people think he's the way he is.

He's def money driven but but nothing wrong with that.

Phil Heath = scum bag Kai should of took it but since its all politics that's why Phil won. Same with Dana lynn bailey she won her division last year and this year took 2nd bull shit

I'm not a fan of Phil at all. He just acts like an arrogant asshole. I watched the prejudging show where Kai stepped up to him on stage and I know Kai needs to be careful so he doesn't get disqualified, but honestly I'm glad he did what he did. Somebody needs to shadow Phil's arrogance. I would have stepped up to him too. Phil was on the end and could have scooted down a little bit, but instead chose to crowd Kai.

Phil just doesn't act like I think a champion should act.
