Mosquitoes.......i hate them

I went outside last night to enjoy a cigar and a cold brew. wore long pants and long sleeve shirt, lit citronella candles. still got bit. They love me, i must be like mosquito candy. only smoked 1/2 of my $10 cigar because those foul creatures.

I do not like DEET bug spray as it makes my head tingle after i spray it on my body and that cannot be good.

does that yard guard stuff work?

mosquito traps or bug zappers?

non-DEET repellant (skinsosoft did not work for me)

how do you keep those bastards away so you do not get bit?

they don't bite me cause I think they would die if they did,lol.

What Essential Oils do I use as a Natural Mosquito Repellent?
These oils work the best for repelling mosquitoes:

Peppermint Essential Oil


Eucalyptus globulus Essential Oil


Eucalyptus radiata Essential Oil


Thyme Essential Oil


Lemongrass Essential Oil


Lemon Essential Oil


Lavender Essential Oil



So you can see there are quite a few! Add 3-5 drops of essential oil to about a teaspoon of a base oil such as V-6 or jojoba oil. And place it on exposed skin. As a note, please also remember to review the safety and dilution instructions for the individual oils as well.

Not much You can do bro don't waste money on a pest company spray it's only gonna work for a few days and they will be back try a fabric softner sheet in ur shrt pocket or under ur hat they hate the smell of it

I usually dont get bit especially if other people are getting bit. Not sure why.

Head tingling? Sounds like that means its working to me! hahah

Bug zappers would be a good investment i would believe. not sure how well it will work but i dont see why it wouldn't at least help.

i am going to buy some of those oils and try them. also heard thermacells work well. i just hate sitting there and slapping myself over and over

They were bad here this summer but now that we have had some real cold nights the mosquitoes are gone. They seem to really go for my ankles and calves and I would get huge bites that would itch and linger for days. I used calamine but sometimes there was nothing to stop the itch so I would have to put ice on those things

Every year about this time we get flies. My house is clean and I have no idea how they get in. Once it freezes they are gone until next august. I wonder if one of those bug zappers would kill them off.Anyone ever use one of those things?

I've had bug zappers, they dont kill them all off. They really just draw in bugs at night and zap them but if you walk away very far from it bugs will still be there.

I would tend to think they are coming in from unused drains. I get them to. I have never left a window open and the door is open only long enough to get in or out and I still get flies. Especially if i leave something in the sink./
