How are you feeling with 9/11/2014 coming up

Not that we should walk around scared. But it is a little disconcerting when you hear that terrorist websites are abuzz with activity in a buildup to 9/11. Its next Thursday. I would say at the least people should stock up on water and whatever else is needed to sustain life in case all hell breaks loose. Keep some extra gas and fill all your cars up.
I dont know if they can take out the power grid, but if so, we wont even have cell phones. Will there be coordinated attacks thru out the country? They are calling for defcon 1. What are your thoughts on this issue?

sad upset very angry i know ill shed alot of tears that day for all those we have lost and are still losing but pride in our armed forces for all they do to make this america and im damn proud to be one god bless all those we lost and GOD BLESS THE USA

Yes, hard to believe it has been 13 years since 911. Things have never really been the same.
Doesnt sound like they want to wait until next year to launch an attack. Isis and al queda are in a competition to see which group can inflict the greatest destruction and grab the biggest headlines. They seem to love these types of anniversaries of islamic glory.
Would expect a lot of people will avoid flying. The terrorists have never given up their desire to take down jetliners and probably have or will have the technology to do it without detection. Public transportation is always a terrorist favorite.

I don't feel it means much to me, but I know it does for millions of Americans . My cousin lost his sister in the World Trade Center during 9/11 . The loss was very hard on the family . I believe the family were awarded quite a bit of money , but it didn't soothe the anguish they felt for quite some time . The family and myself are natives of New York , as well as my sister who was living up there at the time and close to the person i'm speaking of . It makes me feel proud to be American and angry that so many shitty countries want to destroy us when we give aid to them and expect nothing in return .

No, we shouldnt change our daily routine, but this is a real and present danger facing the country right now.

I also think its more than bullshit the kids dont have the school day off. My kids will never go to school on 9/11 ever

Every year people put out threats about 9/11 because of the destruction it did and to our way of life. Do I think something could happen? Yes. Do I think cartels could align with ISIS to cause chaos here? Yes. Will I be scared to live my life? No. That is the definition of what terrorism is. They want to inflict fear to get their message across. 9/11 was a tragic event. A lot of good people, regular business folks, cops, firefighters, a lot of people died that day. It was tragic and should never be forgotten. I know I won't. But I also refuse to live in fear and give terrorists what they want... Not that I'm not prepared for something if it does happen. Just my .02 for what it's worth.

feeling good about it. I don't think Isis is going to attack America on our soil. they're more interested in creating their own state in Iraq and Syria.

I think our politicians in Washington are far more dangerous to our liberties and way of life than Isis is.

Bug out bag and lots of ammo^ As soon as i start my new career I am going to make sure that i am buying ammo and weapons almost monthly. Weather its a zombie attack, WWIII or just marshal law, I want to know my family is safe and we can protect resist and survive whatever happens. If i end up being the crazy mother fucker on the block I am ok with that as long as I know i was prepared in case something happened.
