Instagram?

This seems to be the new wave and people getting away from FB. Especially with the younger ones. Fuzo and I are holding off for awhile before we allow our daughter to get in this social media crap and I refuse to let her get a cell for many years still, lol.

I have not been a part of any of those sites nor do I care to start. I still love the fact that I have no cell phone either...way behind the times I guess,lol

i like the way you think baby1. all this social media crap and everything else is just another way to cause more drama and allow people to step away from reality. this to me goes hand in hand with online dating. what the hell happened to face to face social interaction? you meet people in person and if you click you click if not you may or may not have a new friend either way you develop social skills

What I really dislike is when there is something very important, like with a family member, and you get an email or text about it? What the hell is with that? My Mom has been sick and my siblings text about it and I pick up the damn phone and call...just crazy these days

it is cause people are lazy and would rather shoot a msg than call. that's what i say about fb and all the other crap. if you want to see what i am doing or check on me then pick up the phone and give me a yell. if you dont have my number then you werent that important to begin with haha

My wife and I got rid of all social media. It did nothing but cause drama and bull$@$t in our lives. So happy I did. I do text though... Sometimes especially with kids it's easier for me to shoot someone a quick text then have a long drawn out conversation with those long winded family members (we all have some). But I do agree... I'm so much happier without social media.

Social media is horrible, it gives people this stupid sense of empowerment that people actually give a shit about what your saying. Like Memphis said the drama and bs that occurs is maddening.

Usually because of how mixed your "friends" on social media your going to piss someone off regardless of what you say.

I can't stand people who rant on FB like anyone cares who they are or care what they say. People that rant on there actually think there rant is doing something. It's not.

Also social media is just another big brother. The info you put on FB, things you look at, it's all logged and categorized from everything from government to companies trying to figure out what to sell you.

That's amazing that you have no cell phone or won't allow your kids to have one . At least get a pre-paid cell like I have to call if you have an emergency . I'm told the more expensive cells , especially I-phone's come in really handy when using GPS to give you step by step directions and browse the internet and all that good stuff . if I had the money i'd get one and eventually will .

hey my attitude is we lived without it before..therefore we can do it again. I hate being bothered. Lil one is almost 11 so she most certainly doesn't need a phone and I am a stay at home mom so I am always around. I will hold off on that for as long as I can. I am a bit old school for not being that old,lol
