My question is were the first two found guilty? I find it interesting that this guy, more than likely, waited to have a trial after the first two had been to trial already. Sounds like the lawyer had been planning to use this card all along if things looked grim for his client.

SPRINGFIELD -- A Hampden Superior Court jury has convicted Adam Lee Hall in the 2011 murders of three Pittsfield men.

Jurors found Hall guilty of a number of other crimes committed between 2009 and 2011, including armed robbery, kidnapping, assault and battery and intimidation of a witness.

"The healing process can begin," said Carol Chadwell Smith, sister of murder victim Robert Chadwell Smith, in an interview after the verdicts were read.

Hall, 36, of Peru, faced 19 charges from three separate incidents.

In August 2011, weeks before he was to testify against Hall, David Glasser and his roommate, Edward Frampton, and their friend Robert Chadwell, all of Pittsfield, disappeared.

Their dismembered bodies were found in Becket nearly two weeks later.

Hall was a ranking member of the local Hells Angels when he, David Chalue, 46, of North Adams, and Caius Veiovis, 32, of Pittsfield, kidnapped the three victims from Frampton's Pittsfield home sometime in the early hours of Aug. 28, 2011, and fatally shot them, according to prosecutors.

Hall is being tried first. The next trial is of Chalue in mid-April.

The trials were moved to Hampden Superior Court after defense lawyers said publicity in Berkshire County would make is impossible for a fair trial.

From the 2009 incident where Hall is charged with beating Glasser with a baseball bat the charges were: armed robbery, kidnapping, extortion by threat of injury, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and intimidation of a witness.

Jurors convicted Hall of armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and intimidation of a witness. He was acquitted on the kidnapping and extortion charges.

From the 2010 incident in which Hall is charged with trying to frame Glasser the charges were: kidnapping, possession of a firearm during a felony, intimidation of a witness, and conspiracy.

Jurors convicted Hall of kidnapping, possession of a firearm during a felony, and conspiracy. He was acquitted on the witness intimidation charge.

From the 2011 case the charges were: Three counts each of murder, kidnapping and intimidation of a witness for Glasser, Frampton and Chadwell and one count of intimidation of a witness for Alexandra Ely.

Jurors convicted Hall on three counts of first-degree murder by deliberate premeditation and extreme atrocity and cruelty, three counts of kidnapping, and three counts of intimidating a witness. He was acquitted of a fourth count of intimidating a witness.

District Attorney David F. Capeless issued a statement Friday afternoon thank all those who had a part in the outcome.

“I want to extend my appreciation and thanks to the jury for providing five weeks of service on behalf of their fellow citizens, their attention to the evidence throughout the trial, and for their obviously careful and thoughtful consideration of the evidence in the case. I also want to thank all of the many witnesses who came forward and testified. They should be congratulated for their willingness to share their testimony, and participate in the pursuit of justice on behalf of David Glasser, Edward Frampton and Robert Chadwell," he said.

“These verdicts have resulted from a through and relentless investigation, one which will not rest as we prepare for trial for the co-defendants. All the investigators involved should be proud of what they have accomplished, and the citizens of Berkshire County should be grateful that they are here to serve and protect them," he said.

Fry them all I say. I can look past appearances but the disturbing details I can not.

I could say that I don't judge a book by its cover but I would be lieng.. Unfortunately when you put yourself in that situation by ruining your face then thats how your going to be treated and judged. People aren't stupid so they should know from the get go that that look is going to be a contervercy but they choose to ignore it and still go with destroying your face like that.. Yes destroying because that is exactly what your doing and this is how I think. How do you expedt to get a good job or even a job at mc donalds or anywhere for that matter and expect to not be judged. Its stupid.. As mean as this sounds , you ask for it and those results. Point blank period.. But like I said this is only my opinion .

Free choice allowed him to look like that may free choice allow the jury to determine him fate. But by no means shall public money be allowed to change his appearance. Why gold dip a turd.
