    Re: Loan survivor

the movie was good and the book was great...a friend of mine who was in SF who is friends with marcus and other seals told me a lot of the SF community didn't like it when the movie came out. I told him from my point of view I can understand that but in my opinion the people of this country need to know what happened out there and more will see it via thru the movie then read the book. to me its a story that needs to be told so the people of this country knows what these men do for us in this country...

I've read several books over 25 in the last 2yrs on my kindle...

Really? I've heard the complete opposite. Hannity (fox news) had a segment on it awhile back and had a lot of interviews with people involved. He had been invited to a early private screening and met some of the parents of those involved and some is the soldiers close to the incident.

I understand some of them want to remain out of the spot light or keep SF stuff out of the spot light but I think the American public needs to know the sacrifice these men made on that mountain side...I am sure there are some out there also who liked the movie...I am glad they made it... my wife kept her eyes closed for certain parts of it....

if watching that movies doesn't make you proud to be an American I don't know what will...
