The book is a lot better. The movie was great and I'm glad those boys made the big screen but you don't get the connection to them like you did in the book. Glad Marcus made an appearance in the movie. Good movie, great book!There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter. -

Great movie. Watched it on bootleg before it came out. Watched it in the theater then bought it.
I liked the book as well.
Not loan survivor but if you like those kinds of books i highly recommend american sniper.I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!Comment

I bought the other Marcus Luttrell book called SERVICE, A NAVY SEAL AT WAR at the airport and am just now starting to read it...great read!Comment

The book is a 1000x better than movie. Love the movie but cant compare to the book.
