If expanding the guest list to include Michelle Obama at graduation for high school students in the Kansas capital city means fewer seats for friends and family, some students and their parents would prefer the first lady not attend.

I agree.. if you read the article you will see why they are mad and I don't blame them.. this is for the students who are graduating from high school. and it will turn into a big pain in the ass for the families of the students bc of all of the security that will come with her..
a year or so ago Obama came to my town and he flew into the airport and they shut the interstate down one exit south where the airport is and one exit north of his route to where he was speaking all of this was during the day made it a real pain in the ass to get around town bc of his ass being here.. like the world stops when he comes to town.. and nobody has nothing to do..these people should think about the impact they are making to the town they are going to...

Well its also every highschool in Topeka graduating at the same time same place. Traffics going to be stupid. I will be staying away from Topeka that day.
