WOW..This is a whole new level of pain. Anyone had this? I didn't realize how blind I really was till I had to go without contacts for a few days.

damn that sucks. i got clipped with the seam of a glove once in training but it must have not been bad as the doc just gave me anti biotic drops and it just felt like i had dust in my eye for 3-4 days they was all good.

I've had it before as well ZOOT and can relate. I was mixing concrete and it splashed in my eye. The combination of sand, concrete and lyme plus me rubbing it like an idiot caused quite the abrasion. Fortunately for you the eye heals rather quickly and you'll be back before you know it. But yes, it hurts like a mother fucker lol!Comment

I've had to get metal shards drilled out of my eye... That was an interesting experience. At least the eye is such a rapid healer.Comment

i had lasik. back when they cut the cornea lifted a flap and shot the laser.
