I just heard a new twist to this story. Now it's being said that the coaching staff asked Incognito to "toughen" up the guy. Incognito is part of the leadership team that meets with the coaching staff. They weren't saying that he was told to go about it the way he did, but they are saying that the coaches asked him to "toughen" him up.

i agree to an extent. the guy is obviously a drunken nut case and probably a racist. although i saw a pic of him with a black team mate and they were smiling and had their arms around one another's shoulders like they were pals. didn't look like they were forced into the pic.

i think he was completetly our of line in the the video but as for the sport itself i like to see that ccrazyness on the field. i dont think hes a racist maybe he just says the n word a lot. i know guys who arent racist but get them hammered and they have no filter you know. clearly he was beyond gone in the video lol

read an article today where their team mates thought they were really tight buddies. get him hammered drunk and piss him off about something and you get that. i think it is offensive and crappy but can't a man stand up for himself without trying to become morally superior in the eyes of the citizens who are hyper sensitive to race crap.

i know how to fix it in the USA. stop calling ourselves Irish Americans, Mexican Americans, African Americans and just call ourselves Americans. we place such a high value on our heritage we forget that all but a very small percentage were born here making us all Americans. forget what makes us different and think of everybody as the same with different color skin. it's stupid really.

You are very right, I'm proud of my heritage I'm Scots/Irish and Cherokee. Even if you don't know your heritage, if you were born in America it's a extremely high chance you are some mixture of black,white, and native american. There are alot of DNA studies to prove it too. Even if you look like a certain race you can still have a high percent of another races DNA and look nothing like them. My mother looks like how most people would think a native american woman looks and I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale skin, so I know its a fact lol.

You know, a lot of the stuff I am reading today has changed my mind a bit. Almost all of Incognito's teammates are talking about how good of a guy he is. How him and Martin were like best friends and they had never seen him doing anything like this to Martin. Then you have the story about the coached telling Incognito to toughen him up. I don't know man. I think there is more to this story.

I don't even pay attention to the video honestly. I have some friends that are some of the best guys in the world, but if you piss them off about something, they go nuts like that. A lot of guys do. So the video doesn't really show me anything as far as evidence.

The only thing is the text messages and voicemails....there is no denying those.

I don't know. It has me interested to hear the outcome. Incognito feels confident that he is just weathering a storm and it will all be over soon.

This story gets more and more strange. There are too many current and former Dolphins players coming to the defense of Incognito. Holes were left out of the initial story by the media (imagine that). I personally think that Martin had issues and used this as a way out or there is really not a whole lot to this story and the media just blew it out of proportion as usual. The longer this story goes on, the more it looks like Incognito is not the "bully" that he s being made out to be.

This story is bizarre. Martins parents are both attorneys from Harvard. Now Martin just hired A Rods attorney to speak for him. Why cant he speak for himself? Looks like a big lawsuit is being planned.

There are people making minimum wage who are getting bullied way worse than Martin could even imagine. Who is going to stand up for them? They cant afford an attorney.

And one of the big issues in the story (besides the racial slurs) is the media saying that Incognito "made" martin pay for a trip to Vegas. That's BS. The lineman plan a trip to Vegas every year and it is planned out to the T and paid for in advance. Martin agreed to go on the trip, the trip was paid for, and when it was time to pay up, Martin refused and said he didn't want to go. They made him pay because they had already paid for the trip. Now the media is trying to say that Incognito made Martin pay for a 15k dollar trip to Vegas for nothing.

I tell you what's wrong with this country...THE MEDIA!!! They step in and ruin EVERYTHING with gloom and doom. Can you imagine what the country would be like if they actually broadcast the good news every day instead of the bad?
