Thats why im starting off with teh 400 is a super moto not a sport bike but it still a start. I used to ride dirt bikes for many years. yes i know theres a difference im just pointing out im no newbie with bikes. and i wont be buying a sport bike unless i can buy it cash as you said being under 25 insurance companies will rip you off so i want to own the bike out rite to avoid having to pay insurance.
In the U.S. if you own the motorcycle or vehicle without any debt to the banks, you don't need insurance??

In the state of florida you dont need insurance on a motorcycle or scooter but you do on any other vehicle.
Florida required insurance for motorcyclists: Florida does not require, under current laws, that you carry insurance on your Florida motorcycle. Florida No-Fault Law does not apply to Florida motorcycles. However, Florida Financial Responsibility Law does apply to Florida motorcycles.
I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!
i rode my buddies harley soft tail custom. i drug the floor boards around every corner. going from a sport bike to a cruiser is rough. but they are super comfy and look cool as hell. for now i will stick to a sport bike. i was thinking about trading the 600 in for a cruiser until i rode his.
just dont sit at a light blipping the throttle like some douchebag. LOL

i went up to the Yamaha dealer yesterday and test rode a bolt and a raider with my son (well the raider, the bolt has 1 seat)
the raider was awesome. torque maximus. really good looking, comfy. I could see myself on one except the $$$ they are expensive.
the bolt on the other hand ialmost similar to my old 89 883 sportster i have in my wife's pop's barn. Obviously it was technologically far superior but sat the same. similar riding position. but you could lean it. it was pretty quick too 900+ cc engine
thanks fuzo now i want a new bike. going to the KTM dealer next saturday to try their 450 supermoto. those bikes look like a blast!
