Re: Swine Flu Vaccination - are you going to get it?
well, we got paperwork from the school for us to either approve, or not, our 4yr old daughter's vaccination. They'll be doing it at school. I think it's the inhaler vaccine, so that one doesn't have thimerosol, but my daughter had the virus last week. I saw a doc go over the effects of the H1N1, and that's exactly what she had. Basically, it simple. The anual flu hasn't began yet, and the common cold comes on kinda slow. The swine flu hits ya fast. My daughter went to school a couple a Wednesdays ago feeling fine. Then the school called with her tearing up and complaining of a headache. I got her home, and she got sick 3 times,(fisrt time she ever experienced dry heaves) it was so difficult to watch. She's a touch one though. She immediately ran a low fever. like 101, which isn't too high for a child. Then she had a soar throat and slightly lower fever for 3-4 more days, but she is not a whiny girl when she's sick. You wouldn't have known she was sick. So, it wasn't the common cold. The flu hasn't began to go around, so the doc said if you've had something like that. 97% chance that it's the H1N1.
So I'm not getting her vaccinated even though it's the mist cause she's had it, and it's not that bad of a sickness. It's an H1N1 virus, which means it gets less potent as it advances, or actually, as it breaks down. It does not get worse.
And, I guess I had it, because I ran a low fever for a few days a couple weeks ago. I think I got it from the gym. That's the only place I can't disinfect everything. I need to start bringing wipes. solution! I'm setting a list reminder now. Thanks
