        Re: Waiting....

Mtn-Man, I've already been the ringer with the termite inspector and my crappy real estate agent. That's what got her fired.

In July a couple signed a contract on the house. They low balled the offer and I countered at a price that would cover my loan + commission and I would make zero. Then this couple cancels the contract after the inspector and make another offer $10,000 less which wouldn't even pay off my loan much less cover commission. My agent tried to jerk me around with the inspection telling me that I needed to do all of this work to the house (new roof, replace siding, gutters, plumbing & repair termite damage). After I get the original inspection report. None of that needed to be done. There were only two very small tubes were termites had just started. My in-laws recommended a exterminator that told me the truth and covered the treatment at a very reasonable cost.

Now all I have to do is call him before closing for a termite letter and transfer the warranty to the new owners. All they have to pay is $75 a year to renew treatment.

^ Yea, we got a good deal on the treatment, $500. Other companies wanted $600 or more.
