BUT! If France were to join with ****** (instead of fight) or just gave up and were taken, that would have made ******'s position that much stronger with that many fewer enemies. Think about it.. with **** controll over Britian, Germany, France, Russia... that'd be 1 hell of a task for the US to get rid of!

Well history shows ....We have defeated the Germans and France.Maybe is was the ass kickin the (Amercians)put on france way back when that put that yellow streak down their back.

Is this post directed at me?

Yeah, and if you'd post on topic instead of trying to piss everyone off, it would have been fine.

Think for a second here... either a bunch of people in this thread (includeing a mod or 2) are in the wrong, or you are.

May I remind you that your first 2 posts were dead wrong, and you insulted a bunch of members?
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.

Why is it that most American's think that they're better than everyone else? I mean I'm getting the feeling that you guys think that you are the King of the world and can do what you want, and that everyone seems to owe you something.

I stayed on topic until I was attacked for stating my opinion. Even though I feel you are wrong, I don't call you a dickhead.

                I disagree with this statement.

I have made some good friends here on this board, most of them American.

Canadians, and Americans..we are both the same. The only difference is that we happen to live on different sides of an imaginary line..

IS IT ME OR HAVE I SAID THAT AMERICA DOESN'T FEEL WE OWE ANYONE ANYTHING. And as the world's lone superpower we will always be views by some as arrogant.

Fitchick...I do not believe Amercains think they are better than everyone else..I think many Amercians have a feeling of betrayal from the French. US feels Saddam is a threat and had hoped for support from countries they considered friends. Ovbiously friendship only goes so far.

I have some American friends too, and I know we're the same, but I just keep getting the feeling that some of the people that live on the imaginary line think that the other countries owe them something.... now maybe I'm wrong, but it's just the feeling that I have been getting...

I'm glad you brought this up. I work for an oil company and I meet with people from all over the globe. When I ask anyone from the UK, Australia, France, Nenezuela - what the people of their country think of Americans, their reply is allways the same. "We think you guys are self-centered, egotistical cry-babies that like to pick on other countries. You are also greedy and sue happy". That is the general answer I get from all of them. Let's face it guys, when it comes right down to it, Americans are not very well liked around the globe.
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

Dude, you better step the fuck back!
You make an accusation like that, I want you to show me EXACTLY WHERE I'm attacking another member!! Down to the sentance! Or I want an apoligy... give me one or the other.

Canada or France are one in the same? You've proved to me that you also have no fucking clue what you're talking about. Canada has NEVER HAD ANY LINK TO FRANCE! Except for some french speaking citizens. We've got no more link to France than we do to Asia.

Please people, if you don't know what you're talking about, just keep your mouth shut. How's that saying go...

word your posts better in the future then. You cant generalize an entire Country because of the words of a few of its citizens.
