So let makes sure I'm clear on this. Republicans are suggesting NO stimulus plan, none? Let's just let it ride and see what happens? Again, I hear whining and complaining, yet I hear no solid ideas or proposals on how to get things back.

So what do you propose? What is your party proposing? Regardless of what we do, we need to spend money, no?

Do we need to spend money? NO!!! The exact opposite is what needs to be done in this country. Less government and lower taxes. That would lead to unbridled economic growth!
I can't even respond to the "republicans don't want any economic stimulus plan" comment. If you believe that, you haven't been listening.

So many folks don't get it. They see that there will be some roads fixed and some computers ordered and think, "there. Jobs were created." That's not the kind of stimulous that will resuscitate the economy. Sure, there will be some contracts forfilled, and some companies will have some positions for some folks for a minute, but we need companies to be created in the private sector. Stimulate the spending on the local, everyday, middle America level. That's what's needed. Who do you think gets these big highway contracts? Big corp, big money, in bed with local government (at the very smallest level) people. Dell, god bless 'em. I love my Dell. But Dell already has government on lock in the computer department.
Obama's "stimulous" will do nothing for the average American citizen, and a whole lot for the average everyday massive corporation that is in bed with government officials and the democratic congress' little, expensive, side project hobbies. Big money for big money.
We could've been half way through the pain. Now who knows. Fact; the economy will heal. Now it will just heal alot slower. But when you elect people with an agenda for big government, you get what's coming. We'll see.
Obviously these pro-big government politicians and their allies hate small business. What am I saying? of course they do. They wanna control everything. duh.
