The one thing that the Republican need to look out for this election cycle is the Liberal catch phrases:

1. Clinton Impeachment

The senate listened to charges of purjury and obstruction of justice. The Liberals knew this evidence was irrefutable so they told joe lunchbox liberal voter (operating at a diminished mental capacity) that it was all about sex. Joe lunchbox wanting to sound like he has some brain cells was able to repeat the sex phrase but would never be able to comprehend the real charges so wanting to sound smart at the water cooler, he repeats the Liberal Kool Aide.

2. O.J. Trial (non political)

The prosecutor gets up there and explains DNA evidence, gentic mapping, motive, prior incidences... and then defense council get up and says "if the glove don't fit, you must aquit!" Once again, joe lunchbox wants to sound like he knows something so he parrots the only thing he understood.

We need to squash the Liberal catch phrases before Joe Lunchbox drinks the Kool Aid.

The intelligence was irrelevant. Saddam was in noncompliance with a cease-fire agreement (not to mention countless UN resolutions), which made it Saddam's responsibility to provide evidence that he had disabled his wmd's - HE DID NOT DO THAT = made cease fire agreement null and void, i.e. justified attack. Please show me a rational counter argument to that.

Saddam was in noncompliance with a cease-fire agreement (not to mention countless UN resolutions), which made it Saddam's responsibility to provide evidence that he had disabled his wmd's - HE DID NOT DO THAT = made cease fire agreement null and void, i.e. justified attack. and i agree after 12 years of non-compliance he needed to be squeezed economically, gosh, they were basically bankrupt anyway

so, you had two of your famous LOGICAL CHOICES

A. economic blockades, which everyone in the un and world agreed too, cost to do this, well, let's see, 20 billion to put up blockades

b. start a war, have x amount of folks die, total now 500k, wounded over 100k, cost 1 trillion and growing, that means for a family of 4 it has now cost you 20k to go too war

c. now of course, smart money, loads up and leverages up on commodities, oil, gas, steel, etc., because in war u have too have them have too have them will pay anything for them


yup, sounds logical to me

don't forget mickey cain says he's not too good on economics, hope he learned the lesson, WAR....SMART MONEY BUYS AND LEVERS UP ON COMMODITIES, it's in every economic history book every written going back oh a good thousand years

No. The way we waged war is not and was not the only way to wage war. We could have done it in a way, where casualties were minimal or not happened.

Yeah, economic blockades on dictators only hurt those the dictator is ruling, not the dictator. Well he might have to only have 10 swimming pools instead of 20.

What? Nearly bankrupt? Not even close. He was still selling oil through neighboring countries and enough to keep him going forever. Just like Stalin and Chairman Mao, he would have let everyone starve even if your bad arse blockade worked. A real humanitarian.
As far as not finding any WMD, there was specific intelligence that he purchased enriched uranium. This is something that could fit in something the size of a toy chest and we had to search all of Iraq which is the size of California. ^ do you not agree that it is sometimes necessary? Especially against dictators who do not understand the concept of individual freedom or recognize fundamental human rights. If a dictator or a nation does not recognize individual rights how can you allow them to possess WMD. You cannot.
