My only hope is that they voted for him on what he stands for, which I know is not true, but its the same way here in IN. Im a strict Republican, but if ole boy can lower my gas prices then Hell yeah!!!! lol

I would say definitely BIASED.. maybe not racist...... Ive heard it before, but you put him as the pres nominee and a hispanic female as the VP, and McCain wont stand a chance

97%? Many of those who voted for him know nothing about him other than that he is an african american...Is that racist? Is voting for someone strictly based on their race racist? Its not considered racist if a black person does it. It is called racist if a white person votes based on race.

Its pretty common across the country that most black people will vote for him just because he is black. Same with Hillary and women, lots will vote just because she is female. They are all free to do so.

unfortunatly racism still exsists in our country..it plays a big part in what goes on especially with this situation..when i hear about this it always reminds me of a news clip i saw of a black women in florida..they asked her " who are you going to vote for?".she said " either obama or hillary cuz we need a black man or a women to be president." i couldnt believe what i had heard..its people like this deciding the future of not only our country but the world..the democratic process in essence is a good thing but when you have uneducated people voting without knowing what they're actually voting for is disheartening..i think most people are too stupid to be allowed to vote..now im upset..im going to get a coffee...

ironically hillary has the black women vote sewed up. and black males traditionally don't come out in force on election day. i have a friend who is black who didn't support Jesse's run back in 84 because he said he was too liberal and who supports McCain this election. I think to say they voted for him just because he's black is saying they can't think beyond skin color and don't have a grasp of the issues. they are also paying the same gas prices we are. Did you vote for McCain just cuz he's white?

i tend to believe it WAS a racially motivated vote, but IF that statistic is real, it surprizes me. the radio up here did a poll, calling folks during the primary to ask who they were gonna vote for, and a majority of the african american voters they questioned said hilery!!! they equate her with bill...most even agreed bill clinton was our first black president!! i shyt you not!

I have a hard time seeing TWO minorities make it to Pres and Vice Pres. Obama is def electable but I don't think picking another minority to run on the ticket with him would go over well because racism and race related issues are and will be a topic here in the USA for a long time to come.

Be real here. I'm no racist by any means. I actually chose to attend a H.B.C. (Historically Black College). So that means I was basically the only white person in my class on some occasions. Race is still a very important but underlying issue in this country that effects and is caused by all races, even the minorities.

Go to the inner city or where large areas of say poor African Americans are. I guarantee you they target white people for harassment and the such. I've personally been victim to being "singled" out for being white in a mostly black neighborhood and it was all because I was white. If I was black I guarantee you that I wouldn't of been ****ed with one bit. But when things like that happen to white people it's pushed aside, but when a black family moves to a mostly white neighborhood it is called racist. That's the double standard there....

But before I went off track there...no way the majority of Americans, beign white and even saying that most American's aren't racist would ever vote two minorites into office, an African American and a Hispanic. That would send fears into most people that wouldn't normally consider themselves racist.
