That's what ya gotta do. It takes up 5 times more space than XP, so it made people need to make a giant leap for speed. After RAM, hard drive speed & size, and front side bus making a steady incline since the beginning of time for computers, it screwed some people all up. Plus it was new. I think it's just out of it's freshman/rookie year. It's not so much Microsoft that has the problems with new operating systems, but it's the programs that people use. It should be a couple or 3 years til the world of programming catches up. Until then, it's not a bad idea to be careful what programs you try to use with it. And the occassional bug still happens with any program, computer, and operator.

Thank you Klash for your input. It is appreciated. (After being in a couple conversations with someone that thinks everything I say is an attack or insult I feel like I need to verbally show my appreciation.)

I have a new iMAC at work and it's great. Everything runs great! No problems! I also have an iBook at home. Love it!

I need to do something to clean up my husband's laptop. He's daughter has downloaded a bunch of junk. I just haven't had a chance.

Today BellSouth hooked up our phone lines and internet, but they didn't set up our internet on the computers. When I get home, I'm going to have to figure both of them out. UGA! I hope this isn't going to make me crazy.

dc, if they didn't set you up, I'm sure they left the drivers and everything needed to get going. I've noticed now-days every company just lets the customer set it up. If you need help, just give their tech-support a call. Hold for 30minutes and they'll walk you right thru it. Make sure you set your email accounts up too while you got'em on the phone.
