Not a fact, just an assumption from what others have gathered.

All it takes is the slightest of coincidence for you to go full tilt. That's not good.
Here's another analogous situation to help turn the light on. Tell me what you gather from this:
In 1999-2002, Ford put independant rear ends in the Mustang Cobra. I could post a hundred links of people that had problems with the rear axles easy. Alot of these people were pissed. The only real fix was to replace it with a solid axle as we all know Ford did in the '03 Cobra...That thing would've spun those little rear axles off the first time the pedal hit the floor.
Every aspect of this scenario is mirrored in your experience with Vista. Now, with your reasoning and logic. This would mean that the Mustang Cobra is junk. Does that sound reasonable to you?

Can you get 5 people in real life that have problems with Vista? I can get 5 friends, and a company of about 40 computers that are absolutely satisfied and like it better including me. I've never actually met anyone that's had a problem with it except you. I'm going by that ratio before I go by 50 links that someone digs up. That's not "bullheaded". That's smart.

Does that sound reasonable to you?Okay so every single person I've spoke to at Best Buy that fix these all day that also claim it's garbage are also wrong. All of the people on the internet are wrong. The fact that many companies are continuing to make XP supported NEW products and refuse to support Vista are wrong.
By the way the IRS in Cobra's is garbage! Go on my mustang forum and start trolling it and you'll see all the hate for the IRS. Every single one of those guys is trying to sell their IRS setup.
You guys can laugh, and say all you want about me going full tilt. That's fine with me. I laugh at how completely lost so many people are, and how they would rather live in a world oblivious to the obvious facts. As George Carlin once put it "These people that walk around and all their mind says is BVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV V!" That about sums it up.
You know what I think is the real kicker?! The fact that the same people are always on the same side of the fence no matter what debate it is. It's funny to watch people that have the ability to have their own mind and do research, and then others that read one thing, then convince themselves that's fact!
To close this post off I'd like to add when I first got Vista, I blamed the issues on my computer, not Vista! Then when the next computer did it, I again blamed it on the computer. Then I upgraded the memory and I was told by both Microsoft AND HP that it's much more power than I need, and it should fly. Well it doesn't. So I then thought it could be the internet service. I won't even go into how many hours I wasted of those people. I literally had them dig up my wires in my yard, re-route them, re wire my house, give me a new modem and guess what.......still the same problems. I then got a new router to see if that was it......still the same problems. I switched virus/firewall/spyware software......still the same problems. I even tried running everything with no virus/firewall/spyware protection on.....still the same problems. So after I literally exhausted every single viable option I had a the internet company send a tech with a laptop. He had XP. We ran side by side and my specs were more than twice his. His pics and pages loaded three times faster on the same internet connection!
What's my point to this? I research every angle of something before I come to a conclusion. I don't just have one problem and go full tilt. That would just be you flaming me and trying to make me seem like an idiot. They usually say when someone has nothing good to counter a debate they revert to insults. Case in point. Unlike you I thoroughly look over every aspect of things before I just jump on a bandwagon. That's the difference between me and you. And that's why we'll never agree.

Re: VISTA
Nobody insulted you dj. You do have issues bro. Maybe it is your computer. And I understand that it takes you reading something more than once to be convinced. I guess the reality of me actually useing Vista for hrs&hrs and enjoying it. Knowing, very well, several people that have it and like it better with no problems. Knowing a company that has been using Vista for right about a year now, and loving it; all doesn't matter. I should just listen to you. The same person that seriously suggested that you thought the problem was the government knew you were researching the information that you were, so they were blocking your computer. Yeah, I remember that.
Look bro, you are becoming that man that is (lovably)stubborn. Set in his ways. Will not budge for anything, ever. Whatever an experience has taught you, that's how it is. And only, and you mean it, only, people that share similar opinion to your experience is correct and reasonable in your eyes. That's you bro. Realize that Vista has replaced XP. It is a nicer looking, better functioning operating system. The world is moving forward. Progression is forever happening and never ending. Every year computers get faster and faster. Vista made a leap happen in this usually smooth incline.
You will be that guy, in a few years, over the era of Vista, that thinks it's bad while the rest of the world is operating like a champ with it. Just as the "set in it's ways" mind works...DJDIGGLER, like clockwork.
100million poeple that are operating smoothly and loving Vista are dead wrong. DJDiggler's experience and what the kid says at the local Best Buy is the real deal.
