If you are having trouble staying logged in when navigating between forums/topics/etc., you need to reset your session cookie. Go into your browser and delete any cookie for the site them log back in. This should fix the login issue.

The thing is every time someone purchases a new computer it already comes loaded with not needed stuff. My sister bought a new laptop HP Pavlion and when I looked at her desktop it had over 30 icons. All I have on mine is My computer, My documents, Recycle Bin, Mozilla, AIM and that's it.

^^ she's a newbie doesn't know anything about computers. I had to clean everything for her. I have the iMAC at work and it's superb. Running multiple applications without any problems.

Vista is garbage! I've had nothing but issues with it since the beginning. I bought a new computer a week after Vista came out and it came pre-installed. That computer crashed within a matter of 12 hours and I had to go to the store and have them give me a new one.
I get the new computer and it was giving me the same issues, minus the part where it crashes and never starts again. It's slow as hell (and with my 3.97GB of memory I have plenty to run it), it is very very buggy, it shuts stuff down all by itself while I'm in the middle of doing stuff, it doesn't play 90% of older programs properly if at all, surfing the net is extremely slow even though I have roadrunner ultraspeed and my computer has virtually all of it's memory free.
Basically, as I said it's garbage! I'd so get XP if I could, but supposedly XP won't work with my motherboard in my new computer. We'll see about that though.

IT WORKS GREAT FOR ME AND I HAVE EVERYTHING INSTALLED ON IT.THERES NOTHING SLOW ABOUT IT.

I thought so at first too, until I did multiple searches online and found pages upon pages of people having the exact same issues. That tells me it's not on my end. Maybe you were just lucky.
Another possibility could be your computer specs are twice mine which would make it so you can't see the flaws as easily. My computer is way more than adequate for Vista. But as someone else said, there computer ran much much faster on XP. I'd be willing to bet if you have no issues now and its fast, that if you switched to XP it would be insanely fast.
Not a fact, just an assumption from what others have gathered.
If you have the power, Vista is great. Pages can only load so fast. Some servers aren't fast enough, or are loaded down. I know that pages load on my computer in a split second. I can tell if a website is slow or not. I'm running XP, but I'm just making a point about speed period. Everybody I know with Vista digs the hell out of it and I haven't heard the first complaint. If you want the luxury of Vista, you gotta get enough computer though. It sounds like you have plenty of space and speed Fuzo so I'm betting you'll be happy as can be with it. Especially if you haven't even wiped all those un-needed programs off the harddrive.
