  • gay rights in the workplace

A trial lawyer's wet dream. The dems sure are taking care of business. They passed a bill that says gays can not be discriminated against for a job. Even regardless of religious beliefs.
The gay community said that isn't enough though. They wanted transvestites and cross-dressers included in that bill.

So, now you can't be guaranteed that the values that you hold strong belief in are being carried out and taught to the children, from daycare on.

As usual everyone always goes to extremes, they go from killing people that are gay to letting them cross dress at work. There is never a happy medium.........

I'm waiting for the day when you can't discriminate and fire someone based on incompetence.

i believe that day is here...when i was working for a big dealer, if we was firing a "minority" (black, foriegn, female...whatever), we'd tread VERY lightly!!! and there was a couple times we just decided to "starve them out" for fear of law suit's!!!

but, you gotta be in favor of this one, right? i mean. you wouldnt want to trample on the personal freedoms of transvestite's and crossdresser's!!! (just jackin with ya bro)

That's what I was thinkin...I believe that day has pretty much arrived. Incompetence is hired all the time for fear of a discrimination lawsuit and to even the minority percentage of big corps.
But yeah, I know what you're sayin Klash...like literally, a day when you could be sued for firing someone because they suck at the job...I can see it now. A half ass attorney could pull it off.

well heres my take on it...my younger brother is gay and i would hate for him to not be able to get a job simply because of that...but as far as crossdressers there need to be limitations...you cant have that at school or daycare..not because it is wrong but because its confusing to children at that age..they are too young to comprehend such a thing..but gays are out there and they wont cease to exist due to outta site outta mind mentality...

I have no problem with gays....my aunts best friend is gay, not flamboyant, but gay. He says that most of the flamboyancy is due to a chip on a gay persons shoulder where they feel the need to reinforce that they are guy and NOT AFRAID to express it. It is going way overboard IMO but who am I to tell any grown man or woman what to do (except the people that work for me)

You got that right! Next thing you know, murders will say they were born that way and they will have the right to kill. The world is going down the toilet and fast.

I know everyone has rights, but what makes one group feel they deserve MORE rights? That's BS!
