If you did this list again a few years down the road, it would be totally different I bet...just because of some of the people that are in the top now. Like Mike Myers...His run of Austin Powers films are the reason for his position. Movies like those not only gross tons while on the big screen, but they have longevity that keeps the dollars rolling in. Spider Man is another one that has that type of longevity. They sell out and play out in every form...theater, dvd/rental, paid movie channels e.g. HBO/Cinemax, then movie night on ABC/NBC, and over and over on TBS & TNT. Those type just keep raking the money in. Each episode probably has 10 years of big revenue. Then you have all the novelty items that spin off with them. Jeez, it never ends.
